PUBLIC NOTICE
Seasonal load limits will be imposed on Ogemaw County roads beginning at 7:00 A.M.,
Monday, March 3, 2025, and will be in effect until further notice.
Maximum allowable gross axle loadings are:
Single Axle 11,700#
Tandem Axles 10,400# each
On any legal combination of vehicles only one (1) tandem axle assembly shall be permitted at
the gross weight of 10,400# per axle and no other tandem axle assembly in such combination of
vehicles shall exceed a gross weight of 8,400# per axle.
Maximum load on any tire shall not exceed 450# per inch of tire. Maximum speed 35 MPH for
trucks over 10,000# GVW.
There are no restrictions for legal loads on those Ogemaw County roads designated as “All
Season.”
